Custom Toys Production Process
The whole process of mass production of plastic toys injection molding process:
Stage 1 Concept & Planning
Before any design work begins, we take the time to understand your product vision, target audience, budget, and business objectives. Our experienced team evaluates the feasibility of your concept and provides practical recommendations on materials, production methods, and cost optimization. By addressing potential issues early in the process, we help you save time, reduce development costs, and bring your custom toy to market with greater confidence and less risk.
Stage 2 3D Modeling & Prototyping
With an approved concept, our team develops the toy design from overall structure to fine details. We then create prototypes using a combination of 3D modeling, rapid prototyping, hand sculpting, molding, and casting, allowing the design to be reviewed and refined before tooling begins. During this stage, we also evaluate materials, structure, and production feasibility to make sure the product is practical for mass manufacturing. Once the model, sculpture, or pattern is approved, we create painted prototypes and begin packaging design as the final reference for production.
Stage 3 Mold Making
After the prototype is approved, we move into mold development to prepare the product for mass production. Our tooling team uses CNC machining, EDM processing, wire cutting, and mold assembly to create precise molds based on the approved design. Each mold is carefully tested and adjusted to ensure accurate product shape, stable production performance, and consistent quality during large-scale manufacturing.
Stage 4 Manufacturing & Finishing
Once the mold and prototype are approved, we move into full production. Depending on the product structure and material requirements, parts are made through injection molding, blow molding, or other suitable manufacturing processes.
After molding, each component goes through finishing steps such as painting, pad printing, sewing, surface detailing, and assembly. This allows us to turn approved designs into finished toys and collectibles with consistent appearance, accurate details, and reliable production quality.
Stage 5 Quality Control & Packaging
Quality is controlled throughout the entire production process, from incoming materials to final packed products. Our team conducts inspections at key stages, including appearance checks, size verification, assembly review, function testing, and packaging inspection.
Before shipment, finished products are carefully checked, sorted, and packed according to customer requirements. Independent third-party inspections and safety testing can also be arranged when needed to help products meet target market standards.
Stage 6 Delivery
After quality inspection and carton packing are completed, the finished products are prepared for shipment by boat or plane, or express delivery according to your project timeline.
With years of export experience, we support deliveries to customers worldwide, including warehouses, distributors, retail channels, and event locations. From standard bulk shipments to complex delivery requirements, our team helps coordinate the logistics process to ensure your products arrive safely and on schedule.
